It's a new year, a new decade, a new start. What better way to start off the new year than by ridding ourselves of the unnecessary excess. We at reDECOR have been clearing out closets, de-cluttering, organizing, and making a few donations to some wonderful charitable organizations. What better way to be green?!?
My dream closet! I'm drooling over all that space.
My design resolution for the year - getting rid of the things I don't absolutely love and keeping the things that I do love, or searching for a replacement that's "just right". For me, it's a kind of cleansing, a simple way to refresh my home, to create a place of rest. Who doesn't enjoy a room that's uncluttered and tidy?
The only things missing here are a side table with a book and a cup of tea.
The benefits of organizing and ridding of the excess in your space are numerous. And if your house is on the real estate market, then even better! Your rooms and closets will appear more spacious and give the potential buyer the impression that there is plenty of storage space in your home. And they will be less likely to notice your "stuff" and focus on the space you are selling.
